Medicaid Coordinator (AmeriCorps)

Navigate Medicaid enrollment, renewal, and redetermination processes for patients and families to ensure uninterrupted access to medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Conduct individual, group, and community outreach regarding eligibility, enrollment, and community engagement requirements. Facilitate initial enrollment and biannual redetermination while supporting internal process development to maximize stable insurance coverage. Serve as an advocate and resource for individuals and families facing barriers to care. This AmeriCorps position supports community-based organizations in improving service capacity and cultural competency through volunteer engagement and professional development.
