Job Summary
The Health Actuarial Consultant-Medicaid will provide oversight of actuarial work on client projects including review of data models, assumptions, and analysis involved in the development of actuarially sound rates and the assessment of financial performance. This role will collaborate with colleagues on team-based assignments ranging from small, time-limited projects to larger client projects with an extended timeline. It will also involve guiding and coaching junior colleagues to complete project tasks, and consulting with stakeholders on healthcare policies, data, and rates. Remote work from a home office is supported.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- ASA or FSA designation
- Expertise related to managed care, Medicaid, and capitated rate development
- Working knowledge of MS Office Tools including VLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH
