Job Summary
Check out and check in media equipment including video camera kits, lighting kits, audio recorders, and still camera kits to students. Maintain the inventory and reservation file, updating records as equipment goes out or returns. Report needed repairs, maintenance, and overdue or missing items. Assist students or faculty in the media labs and multicamera studio on occasion. Produce or assist in producing media content for the department. Work a consistent schedule of shifts or shifts based on need supporting the equipment room, video studio, or media labs.
Required Qualifications
- Student must be enrolled as a full-time student at the university.
- Student must have completed DIMA 240.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with inventory/reservation systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with multicamera studio production is highly desirable.
