Job Summary
Instruct students in individual or group sessions, develop and integrate lesson plans, and establish positive relationships within the school environment. Provide an ideal, positive learning environment while delivering articulate oral presentations and written reports. Maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and parents, demonstrating compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and honesty. Requires a current Minnesota teaching license and successful background check. Schedule includes 7.5 hours per day as per contract.
Required Qualifications
- Current Minnesota teaching license
- Successful background check
- Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching
- Ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior
- Ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents
