Job Summary
Broadcasting & Journalism Instructor for an after-school program. Lead engaging, project-based sessions for students in media production, storytelling, and journalism, guiding projects such as school news segments, interviews, podcasts, or esports broadcasts. Teach storytelling, reporting, video recording and editing basics, on-camera presence, audio production, and live streaming fundamentals, while fostering collaboration and media literacy. Adapt lessons for varying ages and skill levels, track attendance and session completion, and coordinate with site staff. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in broadcasting, journalism, media production, or related field, plus experience with students and strong communication skills. Part-time role (1–4 hours/week) with rolling start dates and compensation described per instructional hour.
