Job Summary
Media Sales Consultant responsible for identifying business challenges with prospective and existing customers; communicating via phone, email, video, and in person; building reports with new and existing clients; delivering value-driven marketing strategies; managing a CRM pipeline; consulting with customers to understand their industry and needs; providing top-level customer service and custom strategy development; managing receivables; acting as an ambassador for stations and brands; and collaborating with a revenue team to drive growth in Edmonton’s advertising market.
Required Qualifications
- B2B sales experience with a professional approach in dealing with businesses of all sizes
- Proven ability to foster strong customer relationships
- Proven track record in achieving targets
- Self-motivated and activity driven
- Media industry experience is an asset but not required
- Commitment to continuous learning
- Demonstrated experience in business development or sales
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and strong business acumen
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
