Job Summary
Lead the creation of remarkable video content that aligns with the church's mission, vision, and culture by casting clear vision for all projects and producing, directing, and editing compelling material from pre-production through final delivery. Coach and disciple team members to develop creative and technical skills while collaborating with ministry leaders to tell stories that advance the mission. Coordinate production schedules, resources, and budgets with the Media Production Manager to ensure successful delivery, incorporating new innovation to keep content fresh. Partner with contractors and external vendors to execute projects meeting creative expectations, quality standards, and timelines. Maintain an authentic walk with Jesus Christ through ongoing spiritual disciplines including Bible reading, prayer, fasting, confession, and fellowship. Work alongside the Creative Team and ministry areas to keep projects aligned, adapting to change in a fast-paced environment that includes working weekends and traveling for events like "All-Skates."
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in film, Media Production, Communications or a related field preferred
- Five to ten years of professional experience in video production, with a proven track record of producing compelling video content and leading projects from pre-production through post-production
- Experience leading or mentoring creative teams, contractors or serve staff is preferred
- Monday through Friday (hours may vary based on church needs to include working weekends)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and travel as needed
- Ability to occasionally lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
