Job Summary
Assist with graphic design projects, video production workflows, and content preparation for Highlands College events, departments, communications, and marketing initiatives. Create and resize graphics for digital, print, social media, presentations, and campus displays while maintaining organized project files and creative archives. Ensure deliverables align with brand standards and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines. Maintain awareness of current creative tools, trends, and best practices. Uphold the Christian faith-based Statement of Faith and Core Values of the College.
Required Qualifications
- A portfolio demonstrating creative work
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, Monday.com
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
- Basic understanding of video editing workflows and file management
- Current college student or equivalent experience
- Experience in graphic design, video editing, content creation, or creative production
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project needs
