Job Summary
Media Clerk responsible for creating and maintaining an organized Media Center/Library environment for teachers and students. Duties include processing orders and bibliographies, cataloging, maintaining files and schedules, issuing overdue notices, repairing and shelving books, preparing materials for reserve, managing inventory and supplies, assisting students in locating resources, reading to elementary groups, and supporting the media specialist in maintaining order and discipline; position emphasizes clerical, inventory, and customer-service tasks within a school library setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- General knowledge of secretarial duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to work with students, teachers, and the general public in a courteous manner.
- Proficient use of computers and other office applications (Microsoft / Google / Email).
