Job Summary
Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual and video teleconferencing systems for conference rooms and mission-critical collaboration spaces. Provide technical support for platforms including Microsoft Teams, Cisco, and Polycom while performing fault isolation on audio, video, projection, and control equipment. Install cabling, wall plates, mounts, and displays, then operate and monitor facility equipment during meetings. Maintain accurate documentation and shut down, clean, and secure facilities for daily operations. Provide after-hours and weekend support as required. This onsite role at Saalex in Newport, RI supports multimedia presentation and collaboration environments.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of audiovisual, multimedia, or video teleconferencing support experience
- Experience installing, operating, and troubleshooting audiovisual systems and related technologies
- Ability to learn and support a wide variety of audiovisual hardware and software platforms
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 40 pounds or more
- Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding and work in elevated or confined spaces
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and perform physical installation activities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizenship
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
- Active Secret clearance preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical training in Audiovisual Technology, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field
- Operational knowledge of complex audiovisual systems and enterprise VTC environments
- Experience supporting control systems such as AMX, Extron, or Crestron
- Experience supporting audio platforms such as Biamp, ClearOne, or Extron
- Experience supporting video wall technologies, digital signage, and large-format display systems
- Audiovisual industry certifications, manufacturer certifications, or related technical credentials
