Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Meddys Restaurant responsible for overseeing FOH/BOH tasks, training trainees, delivering service, managing shifts, ensuring compliance with alcohol guidelines, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. Responsibilities include introducing trainees to the team, supervising practical tasks, delegating tasks to FOH staff, performing closing duties, monitoring labor costs, addressing guest reviews to resolve service issues, ensuring accurate end-of-day deposits, auditing tips/receipts, and upholding EEOC/ADA guidelines while promoting a culture of excellence and growth. The role requires leading by example, delivering exceptional service at the ordering counter, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and team accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Able to consistently work 50 hours a week
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Maintain reliable transportation and travel to every store location in the region if necessary
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able to work on your feet for 10 hour shifts
- Customer service experience
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
