Med Waste Box Truck Route Driver

Job Summary
Service assigned medical waste accounts by picking up and transporting hazardous materials safely in compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations. Plan daily routes by reviewing manifests and route sheets, then follow software schedules while preparing, loading, and unloading trucks with proper waste securing. Perform pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on assigned vehicles, complete required paperwork and DOT logs, and communicate route changes or issues to the Transportation Supervisor or Dispatcher. Operate in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, while adhering to safety protocols and using telematics and ELD systems.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management
- Valid Driver's License
- All CMV drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner
- Must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner
- Must strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols
- May be subject to drug and alcohol testing

- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
