Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including grooming, hygiene, dressing, perineal care, bathing, eating, and ambulation while lifting up to 35 pounds. Prepare meals according to specific dietary requirements, manage kitchen and dining room cleanliness, and perform housekeeping tasks such as making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Administer medications, assist with toileting and incontinence care, and chart resident activities and behaviors. Maintain safe, orderly work areas and engage residents in daily activities. This role requires regular standing, walking, and bending, with a shift schedule from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- pass a criminal background check
- subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
- Certifications in First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Medication Assistance Certification
- sufficient physical ability to: stock food; prepare, cook and serve proper meals clean kitchen, kitchen equipment; bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, etc
- Required to continuously complete ongoing education following state specific requirements
Desired Qualifications
- You've previously worked as a cook for large groups
- Have prior caregiving experience
- Have a Food Handlers Card
- C.N.A certified

- You have knowledge and experience with medications along with a medication assistance certificate (or state equivalent)
