Job Summary
Medtech with certificate, part-time on weekends at Grand Oaks Assisted Living coordinates care for Residents, assisting with activities of daily living, supervising and providing reminders with ADLs, assisting with mobility and transfers, medication administration and documentation on the MOR, encouraging participation in activities, responding to emergencies, assisting with dining/meal service and transportation, and maintaining communication with the nurse manager and care team to ensure a continuum of care. Requires punctuality, professional conduct, confidentiality, teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to perform duties across typical assisted-living resident care tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school education / GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Maintained CPR and First Aid Training.
- Level 1 and Level 2 Alzheimer certified, Abuse, ADL, Adverse and Major Incident Reporting, Behavior and Needs of Resident, DNRO, Elopement, Facility Emergency Procedures, HIV/ AIDS Infection Control.
- Universal Precautions, Facility Sanitation Procedures, and Resident Rights Training.
- Assistance with Self-Administration of Medications.
