Job Summary

Follow all policies and procedures for medication administration, ordering, and delivery while immediately reporting any errors or missing medications. Provide quality care to residents as indicated on their care plans, promoting independence and encouraging participation in community activities and outings. Ensure proper transfer of medication carts between shifts, including narcotic counts, and document all medication administration in the electronic health record. Maintain compliance with infection control guidelines, CPR certification, and Century Park's Code of Ethics, while demonstrating patience, compassion, and integrity with residents and associates. Perform efficiently with little supervision in a senior services environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Med Tech or QMAP certification
  • CPR certification (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Ability to perform efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision
  • Willingness to handle difficult residents
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Willingness to complete all required compliance training

Desired Qualifications

  • One (1) year experience in senior services
