Job Summary
Observe and verify that medication is ingested or applied as directed, documenting any refusals and notifying supervisors. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records according to established procedures and state law. Keep medicine carts and areas orderly, clean, and appropriately stocked, while assisting care partners in their performance or assuming their activities when needed. This role requires a Certified Nursing Assistant and one year of experience providing residential care to the elderly, with a starting pay between $17.62 and $22.32 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Ability to understand and conceptualize concepts as well as an ability to make decisions in stressful situations
- High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors, their family members and staff in a caring, compassionate manner
- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience in a Med Tech role
- Prefer one year of experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience
