Job Summary
PRN Med Tech/Certified Medication Aide responsible for monitoring residents' health and well-being, medication care administration, and providing leadership support in resident care and services. Responsibilities include assessing resident needs through PSP processes, ensuring proper documentation for clinical changes, supporting Wellness Nurse with wellness visits and PSP updates, informing Wellness/Executive Directors of medication or service level changes, and assisting with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly. Requires certification as a Medication Aide with state requirements and preferred experience with elders or disabled individuals; leadership capabilities; flexibility to cover weekends/evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide
- Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet the state requirements for medication aide
- A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred
- Must have demonstrated Leadership capabilities
- Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times
