Job Summary
Certified Medication Technician responsible for medication administration and resident care oversight in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Part-time shifts include 7PM-7AM and 7AM-7PM (12-hour shifts). Requires completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course and possession of a Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification. Provides resident-centered care, maintains HIPAA compliance, completes documentation accurately, follows infection control and safety procedures, and collaborates with residents, families, and staff in a team-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course
- Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communication
- Ability to work well with others in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members
