Job Summary
Deliver high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living Community while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Complete documentation in an informative manner, report changes in resident conditions to supervisors, and adhere to infection control and fire safety procedures. Operate only equipment with prior training and attend required in-service education programs. Work 3rd shift as a part-time Certified Medication Technician, ensuring a positive relationship with residents, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course
- Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification
- Ability to express self adequately in written and oral communication
- Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members
- Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
- Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
