Job Summary
Medication Technician role providing warm, engaging personal care and medication administration for residents. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, observing changes in residents’ condition, updating the Resident Care Plan, encouraging participation in community activities, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and supporting a team-focused, growth-oriented environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, RMA/CMA certification, six months of senior-care experience, and ability to work weekends/holidays. Per diem schedule; salary $20-$22/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered Medication Aide (RMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
- Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in Personal Care, Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care environment
- Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State Regulations
- Strong communication skills
- HIPAA knowledge and adherence
