Job Summary
Deliver high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. Maintain confidentiality of residents' information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, promote and protect residents' rights with dignity and respect, and complete documentation in an informative and descriptive manner. Report all changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor immediately and adhere to established infection control precautions and fire and emergency procedures. Operate equipment safely based on prior training and attend in-service education programs to obtain required continuing education. Work full-time on the 3rd shift in Chapel Hill, NC, supporting residents through a team environment that emphasizes safety, respect, and effective interdisciplinary communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course
- Ability to express self adequately in written and oral communication
- Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members
- Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
- Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
