Job Summary
Administer medications and assist residents in memory care to support individualized treatment plans. Document results of PRN medications, record missed doses, and contribute vital information to customized service plans. Respond to calls and concerns from family members and physicians, and collaborate with the clinical team to address resident needs timely. Maintain high-quality care consistency while promoting the organization's mission of wellness and purposeful living.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to resident care
- Previous experience working with the elderly, specifically those with Alzheimer's or other dementia related conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable when it comes to showing up on time
- Compassionate individuals
- Flexibility to perform various duties
- Ownership attitude
- Ability to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends
- Weekend Availability Required
