Job Summary
Care for residents and assist with daily living activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence. Administer medications under physician orders and in line with DHS guidelines; update residents’ service plans; respond promptly to calls and emergencies with first aid; document changes and complete reports; maintain HIPAA confidentiality. Requires CMA certification (or CNA/HCA license preferred), 1 year healthcare experience, HS diploma/equivalent, and within 30 days of start obtain First Aid/CPR and Food Handlers Card. Shifts include 12-hour daytime and overnight options with NOC and part-time/on-call opportunities; compensation $17-$18/hr DOE; location Avamere at Mountain Ridge, South Ogden, UT. Required Qualifications
- Active CMA certification
- HCA or CNA license preferred
- Minimum of one-year of experience in a healthcare setting
- High-School diploma or equivalent
- First Aid & CPR Certification within 30 days of employment
- Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders
