Job Summary
Administer all prescribed medications and treatments per the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and Treatment Administration Record (TAR), ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. Provide personal care including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and activities of daily living, while documenting vital signs and responding to resident needs. Manage medication inventory by counting narcotics, ordering supplies, verifying pharmacy deliveries, and maintaining accurate records for new admissions. Perform daily and weekly cleaning of medicine carts, remove discontinued medications, and attend required staff training. Maintain accurate medical charts within 48 hours of admission or readmission.
Required Qualifications
- Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations
- Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations
- Basic computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Superior time management skills
- Strong team player and a passion for helping seniors
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ months of experience
- Senior Living preferred
