Job Summary
Assist residents with personal care including grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting. Serve meals, support medication routines, and maintain clean living spaces. Engage residents in meaningful activities and keep accurate care records. Maintain a calm, capable response in emergencies while ensuring confidentiality. Obtain Certified Medication Assistance within the first 45 days. This role blends purpose and connection in a supportive, home-like environment at Ashley Manor, offering PTO from day one and a CNA scholarship program.
Required Qualifications
- Age 18+(or 17 with a CNA certificate in Idaho)
- pass criminal background check
- Certified in First Aid, CPR
- Able to lift ~35 lbs
- committed to continuous improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have or obtain (first 45 days) Certified in Medication Assistance
Desired Qualifications
- CNA certification
- cooking experience for groups
- Prior caregiving in assisted living
- Prior caregiving in community service experience
- Passion for enriching the lives of older adults
