Job Summary

Administer medications safely, accurately, and on schedule in accordance with state regulations and community policies. Document administration and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs), verifying resident identity before each dose. Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional conditions, and assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and toileting. Respond promptly to resident requests and emergency call systems while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Communicate updates during shift handoffs and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and family members. Follow infection control and safety procedures, reporting incidents immediately and attending required training sessions. Work part-time from 6am to 2pm under the supervision of the Wellness Director.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Administration course or certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Medication Technician, Med Aide, or Certified Medication Aide
  • Experience working with older adults
  • Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care experience
  • Knowledge of dementia and related conditions
  • High school diploma or GED
