Job Summary
Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide responsible for monitoring residents’ health and well-being, assisting with medication administration, and providing leadership support for resident care in an assisted living setting. Responsibilities include identifying ongoing resident needs via the Personalized Service Plan process, documenting changes in clinical care, supporting Wellness Nurse with monthly wellness visits and PSP updates, informing leadership of medication or service level changes, and assisting with weights and vital signs. Requires certification as a Medication Aide and/or meeting state requirements, with preference for experience in elder or disabled care, dementia care or skilled nursing, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide
- Must be certified Medication Aide
- meet the state requirements for medication aide
- A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred
- Must have demonstrated Leadership capabilities
- Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times
