Administer oral and topical medications to residents under physician orders and licensed nurse supervision, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Record all medication administration, vital signs, and treatment changes using the computer system while reporting immediate reactions to side effects. Maintain infection control protocols, including antiseptic techniques and hand washing, and supervise care staff during nurse absences. Clean and organize the medication room, submit incident reports within 24 hours, and communicate with medical staff and department supervisors. Ensure resident and staff confidentiality while attending all required training and meetings.
