Job Summary
Conduct patient and family-centered care using the nursing process to address physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs across diverse populations. Develop individualized nursing plans of care with patients and care partners while integrating evidence-based practice and cultural beliefs. Partner with patients and families to identify learning needs, provide education on conditions and medications, and coordinate discharge planning with follow-up arrangements. Minimize risk of harm by following established protocols, utilizing information technology for communication and error mitigation, and actively participating in safety and quality improvement committees. Function within inter-professional teams to foster open communication and shared decision-making, while acting as a primary preceptor for staff members. Float to all Intensive Care Units within the Central & Eastern Region during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 4 years experience
- Previous experience as an RN in a Med Surg setting
- Must be currently working in a Med Surg Unit

Desired Qualifications
