Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions while managing rapidly changing situations. Collaborate extensively with the healthcare team, patients, and families to coordinate care, delegate tasks, and participate in clinical decision-making and performance improvement activities. Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, safety issues, and wellness. Maintain professional ethics and departmental competencies as a registered nurse in the Med Surg/Oncology unit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NJ RN License
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers
