Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in Med Surg Oncology by assessing patients on admission and throughout shifts, administering prescribed medications, monitoring responses, documenting care, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps. Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to ensure comprehensive, compassionate care and advocate for patients to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- 1+ RN experience REQUIRED
