Job Summary
Provide direct bedside care in the medical/surgical unit for inpatient patients, delivering hands-on nursing interventions and monitoring patient status. Manage patient assignments during day or night shifts, ensuring timely medication administration, wound care, and vital sign checks. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care plans and communicate updates to physicians and families. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state board of nursing requirements and hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- BSN
- Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire
