Job Summary
Assist patients with daily living activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse, including bathroom assistance, bathing, hygiene maintenance, bedding changes, repositioning, ambulation support, meal service, and vital signs collection. Obtain and record vital signs while ensuring patient safety and comfort during care transitions. Maintain a clean and safe environment by managing personal hygiene needs and assisting with mobility. This role supports Munson Healthcare's mission to deliver exceptional care across northern Michigan's eight community hospitals, offering a unique lifestyle with access to freshwater lakes and scenic trails.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
