Med Surg Nurse

Conduct admission and ongoing assessments of patient conditions, delivering individualized care addressing physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Design, direct, and document comprehensive care plans including patient/family teaching and discharge transitions. Implement safety protocols, medication practices, and physician orders while preparing patients for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic studies. Perform bedside shift reports with family participation to ensure continuity of care, reassess patients following interventions, and notify physicians of significant changes or emerging needs. Maintain a safe work environment by promptly removing soiled equipment and reporting hazards. Requires Associates Degree in Nursing with one year of RN experience and Basic Life Support certification.
