Job Summary
Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse/Graduate Practical Nurse provides quality patient care using the nursing process under supervision of the RN. Requires PA Practical Nurse license and current BLS; duties align with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines in a Medical-Surgical unit, including teaching/instructing, clinical accuracy, and stress management.
Required Qualifications
- Current PA Practice Permit/ Practical Nurse license
- BLS certification required prior to end of orientation period
- Experience with clinical nursing duties in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Competence in nursing process, patient care, and crisis management
- Ability to work under supervision of Registered Nurse
- Strong communication and clerical accuracy skills
