Job Summary
Provide education and clinical staff development and training throughout the facility and affiliated service lines. Deliver competency assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for clinical education. Participate in ongoing educational and training opportunities while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Maintain current Missouri or compact state RN licensure and complete required BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications. Requires four years of acute care nursing experience and two years of clinical education experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Four (4) years of clinical acute care nursing experience
- Two (2) years of clinical education experience or project inclusion
- Experience with regulatory education requirements in acute care settings and program development/coordination
- BLS due within 7 days
- ALS, and PALS certifications required within 30 days
- Current Missouri or compact state RN licensure
- Competence in practice as appropriate for previous experience or completion of an orientation program
- Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
- Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- critical care experience
- ALS, and PALS certifications
