Med Surg Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Med Surg Cardiac Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care to adult medical/surgical/telemetry patients on the 5th Floor, including patients pre/post cardiac catheterizations and vascular interventions. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards; develop and document individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family; promote patient and family-centered care; educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care needs and medication administration; ensure patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participate in professional development; and monitor patient needs across the continuum of care. The role emphasizes critical nursing skills, telemetry monitoring, communication across care teams, and adherence to safety and Magnet-designated standards. Minimum education is Nursing Diploma/Associate's; BSN preferred; RN licensure required; telemetry experience preferred; shift is FT Nights with sign-on and differential opportunities.
