Job Summary
Medical Director role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering provider education and performance management initiatives to support value-based care goals. Lead a team of clinical transformation and quality improvement specialists; cultivate relationships with internal/external stakeholders and providers; create provider transformation strategy, develop education materials across varying readiness levels, and implement analytics-driven performance measurement. Partners with enterprise and network facilities to drive quality, cost management, and care delivery innovation; establish multidisciplinary teams and serve as physician SME for projects related to transformation, population health, and predictive analytics. Requires MD or DO with at least 10 years in a value-based setting, 5 years in medical management within managed care, and leadership experience in integrated delivery systems. Salary range: $214,100 - $297,885. Location setup includes Hopewell, NJ (hybrid) and remote US options; NJ/NY/PA/CT/DE residency requirement applies per policy.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- minimum 10 years clinical experience in patient centric/value based setting
- minimum 5 years medical management experience in a managed care setting
- physician leadership experience in integrated delivery systems with financial accountability
- current unrestricted MD or DO license from New Jersey
- knowledge of population health, value based care, UM standards, regulatory requirements
- ability to design and implement provider education and transformation initiatives
- experience with KPI definition and governance
- strong communication and collaboration skills
