Respond to calls, escort, and transport patients in a timely and safe manner, including between hospital grounds, patient homes, and for appointments. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure proper working conditions. Utilize prescribed procedures for safely transporting patients in wheelchairs and using bus seats, including seatbelts and strapping devices. Assist passengers on and off the vehicle safely and courteously while managing medical equipment and emergencies. Take part in participant care planning and contribute to notations in medical records.
