MED ASSISTANT CERT - CLIN

Maintain departmental policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols while performing basic nursing procedures such as vital signs, venipunctures, and injections. Conduct patient interviews, input data into the EMR, and ensure accurate medical record documentation. Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and provider support tasks including note preparation, verbal order entry, and prescription refill management. Manage reception duties by answering calls, scheduling appointments, and handling message pools. Ensure adequate supply stock, inspect areas for compliance, and maintain a therapeutic environment using AIDET communication fundamentals.
