Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance on material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems including belts, motors, and photo-eyes. Create, assign, and close out work orders while tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts usage. Mentor junior technicians and maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility. Work 2nd or 3rd shifts in a warehouse environment, moving between departments averaging 6 to 12 miles daily. Requires 2+ years repairing automated conveyor systems and 1+ years reading blueprints.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls, including predictive and preventative maintenance
- 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics, with working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Flexible and willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift
