Job Summary
Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, including automated packaging and distribution equipment. Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation while troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems related to belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays. Create, assign, and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used, while tracking and storing department inventory. Mentor junior technicians and maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility. This role requires flexibility to work the 2nd or 3rd shift.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls, including predictive and preventative maintenance
- 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics, with working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Flexible and willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift
