Job Summary
Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at Cushman & Wakefield/C&W Services responsible for repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility. Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Responsibilities include promoting safety, performing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, creating and closing work orders with labor hours and parts data, tracking department inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining positive cross-functional relationships within the Operations team. Required skills include hands-on experience with electrical/electronic principles, blueprints/electrical schematics, CMMS, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; preferred qualifications include an associate or higher degree in mechanical/electrical fields, experience with MHE safety standards and robotics, and the ability to troubleshoot I/O functions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls
- 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with the ability to create and manage documents effectively
- Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts
