Job Summary
Respond to service calls across all departments to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, prioritizing repairs with input from Plant Management. Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, while executing daily inspections of molding presses and maintaining oil levels. Troubleshoot production malfunctions by reading blueprints and schematics, installing equipment upgrades to improve reliability and safety, and completing all required paperwork on daily work sheets. Maintain a neat work area and adhere strictly to environmental, health, and safety regulations while performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree in Mechatronics
- Five (5) years relevant experience
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Mechanical troubleshooting
- PLC troubleshooting
- Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Autonomy, extensive experience working with engineers and machinists and working with little supervision
- Extensive experience in shop math
- Must be extremely strong on safety rules and regulations
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Two-year degree in a Mechatronics preferred
- Excellent communication skills and working with teams
- Microsoft Software (Office, Excel)
