Job Summary
Start automation cells by assembling, installing, and commissioning industrial robots, conveyors, and safety systems. Verify power sources, debug software, and configure parameters for robotic sequences. Perform Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, including dry and full cycle runs, to ensure performance meets sales orders. Oversee rigging, troubleshoot hardware and software retrofits, and conduct FAT and SAT with customer sign-off. Finalize documentation, archive software, and hand over systems to local service technicians while introducing usage to customer personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), Electromechanical Engineering Technology (EMET) or equivalent training & experience as a control systems integrator
- Minimum of two years of related experience in robotics or automation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), control system processors, industrial instrumentation, control system analog & digital I/O, control system networks (EtherCAT, Ethernet, Profinet)
- Knowledge in graphical & ladder logic programming code
- Knowledge in reading mechanical drawings, pneumatic and electrical schematics
- Operation of an overhead crane and forklift
- Good communication skills
- Valid passport
- Driver's license
- Lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs
- Travel time per year (Average): 30% - 45%
- Travel to other countries is required
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Robot experience: KUKA, Fanuc
- Preferred Control experience: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff
