Job Summary
Integrate retrofit autonomous control systems onto row crop and utility tractors by designing electrical cable harnesses, reading schematics, and developing C++ or Python software for embedded autonomy. Build and validate hardware interfaces with sensors, actuators, and vehicle communication networks while performing system integration, testing, and troubleshooting in both laboratory and field environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and document designs, test procedures, and engineering changes. Support field deployments and customer installations as needed. This role bridges mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines to drive autonomous machinery into agriculture, offering competitive benefits including 401k, medical, and dental.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- An entrepreneurial attitude with a keen eye for detail
- Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Industrious – can drive tractors, trucks, and anything with four wheels or willing to learn
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require work visa sponsorship
