Job Summary
Develop, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, motion control, SCADA, and robotic systems while configuring servo systems, VFDs, and industrial networks. Design machine control logic, safety circuits, and operational sequences, then collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electro-mechanical systems from concept through field startup. Perform system validation, prototype development, and remote diagnostics to support projects from design to customer acceptance. Travel domestically and internationally up to 30% for commissioning, troubleshooting, and training activities. Assist in R&D and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance product performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, robotics, or machine design
- PLC Programming (Rockwell and Mitsubishi)
- HMI Development (FactoryTalk ME and Mitsubishi)
- SCADA Development (FactoryTalk View SE)
- Motion Control and Servo Systems (Rockwell and Indramat)
- Industrial Robotics (Yaskawa)
- EtherNet/IP
- Profinet
- Modbus TCP/IP
- Basic programming/scripting experience (Structured Text, Python, C#, or equivalent)
