Job Summary
Perform daily installation, alteration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, computer, control, and robotics/automation equipment within a complex Fulfilment/Distribution Center. Learn to operate material transfer conveyors, robotic systems, and PLCs while following technical documentation and adhering to health and safety policies. Shadow experienced technical advisors to identify malfunctions, remove and replace components, and execute scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency. Complete a comprehensive classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job learning program with training at designated sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, or Texas.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test
- Ability to travel to attend training at one of 3 training sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina or Texas for 12 weeks
- Basic computer skills, i.e. email, word processing, reading spreadsheets, internet browser basics
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in basic preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting skills and repair methods of industrial machines
- 1+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical basic components
- 1+ years of experience with compressors and pneumatics
