Mechatronic Engineer

Job Summary
Support the integration and commissioning of mechatronic modules and in-state-of-the-art die bonding machines. Support the set-up of an ITEC Malaysia assembly line from a mechatronics perspective. Perform technical analysis, measurements, and investigations to support troubleshooting, commissioning, and performance improvement activities. Work with internal stakeholders and customers to clarify technical issues, support problem resolution, and align practical improvements. Support customers and field service engineers with equipment optimization, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving. Join a multi-disciplinary team alongside architects and electronic, software, and process engineers to engineer answers to customer challenges in semiconductor manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- University degree MSc/BSc in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
- proven mechatronics experience
- Experience with control and automation systems (tuning, diagnostics, measurement)
- A few years' experience in the Semiconductors/Electronics/RFID/LED industrial equipment industry
- Experience using MATLAB and/or Python for data analysis
- High level knowledge of DFM, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D methods
- Excellent technical troubleshooting, decision-making and creative-thinking skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to deliver results through determination and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Flexibility to travel overseas and to Hong Kong and The Netherlands
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Semiconductors/Electronics/RFID/LED industrial equipment industry is an advantage
