Job Summary
Execute front/end or field execution Workface Planner (WFP) activities for a single construction discipline under general supervision. Collaboratively work within the WFP team and with Construction and other Project Functions to organize project work scope into manageable, measurable, progress-able, and safe work packages. Mentor new Workface Planners as required. This permanent maintenance role begins in August or September on a 9/80 shift schedule with living out allowance provided for those residing outside the local area. The position is based at the Cenovus site in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
Required Qualifications
- Must have transportation to and from the site
- Related industry experience with inter-provincial red seal (i.e. Millwright, Pipefitter, Ironworker) or technologist certification
- Experience with planning, budgeting and estimation
- Strong computer skills: SAP; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project/Primavera
- This role requires a satisfactory criminal record check
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
- Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Desired Qualifications
- Pipefitter trade background preferred
- Previous workface planning and/or project controls experience
